Recycling Patrons who live outside of Cabell County will still be able to utilize the recycling drop off locations.
HOW IT WORKS
Non Cabell County residents can purchase passes that will allow them to access the recycling sites and dispose of their recyclables. The sites are gated and fenced with a sophisticated system that will allows patrons access during hours of operation. Currently the Huntington site is open from 7AM to 7 PM 7 days/week. The Depot Street Site in Barboursville is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Both sites are equipped with cameras that will monitor the sites 24 hours/day 7 days/week. The Cabell County Solid Waste Authority does not handle or process materials. Funds collected from the sale of fobs will help pay for Rumpke to haul and process all accepted items.
One Pass (key fob) per each household. Fobs cannot be shared with other households.
A full year subscription to either recycling yard is 4.25/month or $51.00/year. The cost is prorated depending on the time of year you purchase your fob/pass.
Passes purchased in the month of November are 46.75 and are valid until September 30, 2019.
Lost passes will be replaced at a charge of $10 each. Passes purchased after October will be prorated.
