Program Year 2024-2025 has been extended.

Program Year 2024-2025 has been extended through October as we anticipate the opening of the new yard on 7th Avenue. Please continue to display your pass on your vehicle's mirror or in the front window. As soon as the new yard comes online we will begin renewals and distribute new fobs. At this time it is unclear if the old fobs will work with the new system, so please continue to hold onto them and use the fob number when it comes time for renewing.

We are trying to keep costs the same as Program Year 24-25. However, we are anticipating a 3% increase in hauling costs with Rumpke. We'll share cost info as details emerge.

The Temporary Huntington Yard on Route 2 will serve until the new yard is up and running. As construction finishes, we'll establish a transition date and share it with patrons through email, on this website, and on social media.

The Temporary Huntington Yard -

The temporary Huntington yard is located at DBA Metal Recycling Center - 4023 Ohio River Road in Huntington. Bins will be set up for patrons to access during DBA Metal Center Recycling's regular business hours - M-F 8:30am to 4:30pm and Saturdays 8am to 11:30am.

While a new gate and fob system are being constructed, patrons who renew will receive a gate/parking pass. The pass is required to access the bins on the property. Please hang it from your review mirror so that it is visible through your front windshield. Do not discard your fobs. We are planning on using the same system that was used at the Virginia Avenue site.

We realize the temporary hours are somewhat limited. We will resume our 7am to 7pm schedule once the permanent site is complete. Please take this into account before renewing.
